📑 SheraChat – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SheraChat, a messaging application provided by SheraAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using SheraChat, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SheraChat, or the minimum digital consent age in your country.
If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Account Registration

A valid mobile number is required to create an account.
You are responsible for all activities under your account.
You agree to keep your account secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Permitted Use

You may only use SheraChat for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

Harass, abuse, or threaten others.
Share content that is illegal, harmful, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights.
Use SheraChat for spam, scams, or fraudulent activity.
Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.

4. Messages and Content

You retain ownership of all messages and media you send.
By using SheraChat, you grant us a limited license to process and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Messages are deleted from our servers once delivered, except where temporary storage is required for reliability, backups, or legal compliance.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is protected under our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. By using SheraChat, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

6. Prohibited Content

Users must not upload, share, or promote content that involves:

Child exploitation or abuse.
Terrorism, violence, or hate speech.
Fraud, impersonation, or criminal activity.
Unauthorized copyrighted or trademarked materials.

7. Features and Updates

Some features (such as calls or AI tools) may be marked as “Coming Soon.” Availability of features is not guaranteed and may change without notice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you:
Violate these Terms.
Misuse the Service for illegal purposes.
You may delete your account at any time. Account deletion permanently removes your profile and related data.

9. Limitation of Liability

SheraAI provides SheraChat “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We are not responsible for user-generated content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SheraAI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law rules.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
We also comply with applicable international laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), where required.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be effective once posted in the app or on our website. Continued use of SheraChat means you accept the revised Terms.
